Therefor it should be "Jesus the Christ", etc. His actual name is Jesus, at least, in the Latin (which would have been pronounced Yaysoos). In his own language of Aramaic, he would have been known as Yeshua. His last name would most likely have been Ben Yussef, for Yeshua Ben Yusseff, or translated to the vernacular, "Joshua, son of Joseph".
