Spring break, 1970.

Hot sun, sand, palm trees, underage drinking -- and you thought *today's* teenagers were unruly!

No comment from me, no sirree. Not one. They know where I live...

Second Platoon of the 162d (the -- ahem -- *Junior* Varsity) observing some off-camera shenannigans, most likely involving Baby-San and the ingredients for homemade napalm.

I might have been the fearless leader of that gaggle, but wouldn't be caught dead in a photo with them! They photo is blurry because the ugliness therein depicted almost melted my camera. These guys were the 2nd platoon aircraft commanders circa May '69. The black guy took over for me as flight lead, and the guy next to him is still in the Kansas Guard. He is a CW5 and the Governor's pilot.
