Will the will of American People make George W. Bush the Daladier/Chamberlain of his generation?

Or, is this, as they thought at the time of the Reoccupation of the Rhineland, just another little tin-horn Dictator?

That parallels aren't all that parallel, certainly.

But food for thought, regardless.

Whenever I read crap like this I have to wonder: just what in our history makes them think that we would take military action (which after all is what would be required to stop Iran - I don't think milk and Oreos are going to do it) against Iran when it took Bush moving heaven and earth PLUS a terrorist attack to get us to attack Iraq? The precedent here is Kuwait. And the resolution to act just BARELY passed Congress, if you'll recall.

It may be a tossup over which occurs first, the mullahcracy producing a working homegrown nuke or the Iranian population forcing a change in the government.
