And, for those of you into the Retro Look... Heh. The Armorer offers up this. And this! And of course, for Dusty! Lastly, for our Canadian Friends......

Hey Chief, what's the loose translation of the words on the side of Squatter Swatter?
Definatly loved the 'Peace thru superior firepower' bumper sticker on the A-10s cannon. That was cute beyond words.

UtahMan - Actually, I did the grey-schemes as a sorta-kinda Great White motif, and I have no idea what I was aiming for on the color version--the Legion guys insisted on giving me a couple of beers right after I did the chalklines.

And if you're ever in West Jordan, tell the World's Tallest Apache Pilot to read his %$#@! e-mail, okay?

AH-1 Cobra + "tiger mouth" paint scheme = cool.

Of course that's just my opinion.

Wheeee! "Squatter Swatter" reminded me of the time one of the Copperhead crewchiefs painted "Sat Cong"* on the belly of one of the Charlie-models. A REMF** Major visiting from 1st Aviation Brigade came down on us like a ton of bricks.

He was absolutely adamant that it was okay to kill them but it wasn't okay to intimidate them. I figure this guy wound up in charge of policy in 1975...

*Vietnamese for "Kill the Commies"
**MilSpeak for--ummmm--REMF...
