In my post below (Aw Shucks, Ma'am) in which I talk about Service Clubs and Chuck Simmins pointed out that as a Rotarian, Hamas thinks I'm a *Bad Man* (you Lions, too) and a member of the Zionist Conspiracy... I completely left out another avenue of service: the Veteran's Organizations, which also do Good Things. Mr. Jewell corrected my mistake: And lets not forget about the Veterans Service Organizations like the American Legion and the VFW We're a whole lot more than a place to get a cheap beer, tell war stories, and bellyache about the VA Budget. Volunteer oportunities...

We're extremely proud of our American Legion VSO's here in Indiana. We maintain a full time staff of four VSO's and three secretaries to assist Veterans of any persuasion (members or not) in all matters VA, at a cost of over $200,000 annually to the members of the Department of Indiana.

We have a lot of opportunities for service. Too much to list here.

Thanks, John, for the "front page coverage".
