More intercepted Guardian Angel Traffic.

Since SPC Heartless Libertarian no longer needs the extra Guardian Angel detail, it appears that ANGCOM has diverted the team to MSG Keith, to keep him safe from "short-timer-itis!" From: carborundum@angelus.mil To:acerbus@angelus.mil Subject: Status Acer -- you aren't going to believe this, but they've changed our orders *again*. At first I thought they were going to send us back to the Tuttle detail, but by the time the stun charge wore off the guys had confirmed we're headed for Afghanistan. Good news is this Keith fellow doesn't fly helicopters. Bad news is he flys *in* them, and likes to take...

It was a doe, and while it didn't totally freak Katie Kat out, dragging the mangled carcass into the back of the truck, while poetic irony, would have sent her over the edge...

In summer 1976, I was withing a couple months of my first ETS. I had several close calls in that time, not the least of which was being in a uh-1 that almost crashed into the top of a hill on the big island of Hawaii (Pohakuloa Tng Area). I was getting pretty spooked, and TINS that was one of the big reasons I just went ahead and reenlisted. After that, nary another problem.

I'm not superstitious, but Hawaii can make you wonder--like whether or not there really are memehunis (hawaiian leprechauns--sort of).

Just rememberin'

                Hey Keith!

Glad you stopped by for a visit! Only 16 and a wake up....I know you want to stay, but I'm also glad you're coming home! Stay safe... Don't make those GA's work overtime, OK? No need to wear them out in two weeks.

They've obviously been doing their job. Things are getting hotter over here, temperature and activity wise, and I'm still around taking pictures. Just wish I could stay around a little (or a lot) longer. But, I have a feeling we'll be here awhile and I'll get a chance to come back. 16 and a wake up...

Yeah, I guess that "Job Fair at Camden High" *was* a little far-fetched, huh?

And "sweetie" is more likely to approach with the real, live honeydew list than with anything potable...'t ain't full dark, yet.

Now, Chief, don't play with the children's heads! I suspect yer aktchally kickin back in the Barcalounger, trying to decide which silly movie to watch, while yer sweetie approaches you with comestibles/potables and offers of , um, massage.

Mmmmmff.
1. Filming another commercial...they want me to loop a Huey?!? Oooog. I hate that...
2. Job Fair appearance at Camden High? Oh, boy. Flak vest an' kevlar for that one...
3. "Volunteered" for Newark docks inspection of glowing CONEX in a container ship?!?!
4. Testing flame-retardancy of new flight suit inside Mauna Loa--guess I'd better pick up some extra Travel Vouchers...

Now, on Tuesday...
