To keep ya occupied while we return...

All right, for those of you swimming in the moat (no peeing, it upsets Bill and the other Moat Monsters) just a reminder. Keep an eye out for these: I like useful militaria. This is a Confederate Navy 'torpedo' (that's what they called mines, back in the day). The one in this picture is located in the Civil War Navy Museum in Columbus, Georgia. The moat is liberally seeded with them. No diving or boating....

Umm... About them mines... Seems a SEAL feller needed to get some dive qual time last week, an' he got a little bored...
But they make GREAT kegs!

Now, where's the Drambuie?

And a darned Good Thing you refrain from swimming in middens, too.

You might tumble all the way to the bottom of the hill and bump your noggin.

*I* don't swim in middens. I prefer cement ponds.
However, I have been known to waterski...and my pilot friend threatened to buzz the lake whenever we went up there.

Wonder why?

                Which thermometer did you use?

Sounds like you HAVE been swimming in the moat.

I guess we needs to fit Castle Argghh with a filtration system so that in times of seige we
can fish and get potable water.

Now about the middens...

ALCON: He forgot to grease the horns (the doohickeys that make a sea-mine go boom) and the powder inside's soaked. Negative danger unless you bump your head on one doin' a half-gainer into the moat. On the other hand, somebody who got into the Drambui the other day mistook the moat for the garderobe and the water's now 65 degrees above ambient.
I used a thermometer--why do you ask?
