Don't hang up - hear me out!

Another fundraiser - this one is painless. It doesn't cost *you* a dime.

From a comment on SWWBO's site:

OT: Greg Hammonds, whose wife died of breast cancer, is hosting a comment fundraiser with the money raised to go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s programs for education and low-cost or free mammograms for low-income women. For every comment made, he or another of the sponsors will donate $1. So, if you have the time to simply comment or even better to provide a link to direct traffic there, it would be super :D

Got it? All you have to do is visit that site by clicking this link - leave a comment, and *other people* will donate money to the cause.

Not you, but other people. How can you turn that offer down? Why are you still here? We'll be here when you get done. But if you wait too long, you won't be able to score the Karma points.

Go. Comment.

Hat tip to Rae, via SWWBO.

You know, there are heroes, and then there are heroes... There are the folks like us, who steel our hearts for battle, don flaks, helms, and deauce gear, grab the rifles and head to the front... And then there are heroes that stick to their convictions, try to make life a little better for folks, and put theirselves in harms way, and sometimes get crunched because of it... And then there the Son of Man who got nailed to a tree because it was the ultimate expression of God's love for His people... And then there are the folks who are heroes because they simply generate the guts to take another breath. Folks who are undergoing treatment for a multitude of life-threatening illnesses, or are standing by, helpless, as their mate slips the surly bonds of earth, and leaves behind a catalogue of experiences and memories that the survivors have to sort through, and all that this implies... I'm not a rock... I'm a dragon. I'm scaley and coarse, I breathe fire and have sharp claws... But every now and again, I rear up and open that place on my chest, pull back that armored scale, and expose my heart... I recommend that everyone do it now and again... It hurts. There are so many stories of pain, bravery, death, life, inspiration... Sometimes it's overwhealming... But I wouldn't have it any other way... Thank God for Heroes, hey? Semper Fi, Sgt. B.

Thanks for the PR and referrals. Much appreciated.
