        You forget I was with TF Hawk...the Apache guys had crew rest...as much as the USAF guys did. Does he REALLY want to go there? Heh.

        Yeah, guys I know it&apos;s unmanned...but think of the experience if it were (just for fun). You can&apos;t do much at Mach 10 in terms of fighting, but at least it would be intersting to experience. Of course, at the altitudes you have to do it, the sense of motion would, like in low earth orbit, not be as acute as it were if you were going 17,500 mph at 500&apos; AGL. heh.

        <![CDATA[Actually the X43 is unmanned.  It would have been a lot more expensive to make a manned version (the unmanned X43 is only 12 feet long).  Of course I'm sure ever test pilot in the US government was pissed off that they didn't.  BTW, if it did have a pilot, you'd have to fight your way past me in line for the job. :-P
