Here I am trying to do some research on something political (like trying to ferret out what the Iranians think of the mullahs and would they get even more pissed off than they already are when they realize what getting a nuke REALLY means, etc.)...and John starts in on big, no, very large, no, enormous guns. Yeah, I like the Avenger for all the reasons John mentioned, but here are a couple of other things to consider... This is point-and-shoot weapon. Meaning? It's responsive. This is good, especially against pop-up targets and arrogant Eagle drivers dumb enough to go hand-to-hand...

Nuclear weapons in the hands of a theocracy most noted for its training and operational support for organizations such as Hezbullah, Hamas and al Qaeda.

Detonation after effects can be analyzed, often pointing to the source of the weapons-grade core used in the device. If Bush wins (which I doubt due to organized voter fraud in the battle ground state urban population centers), and they pop a party favor traceable to Iran, Tehran will be totally smoked. If Kerry wins, it may not be as bad for the mullahs...but the fact remains that, when you join the Club, you become someone's target.

When you join the Club AND are pretty much seen by those in both East and West as the Offcial Moonbat Country of the Middle East and a real (and I mean REAL) threat to civilization writ large, I don't care of you're from Iowa or Manchuria, any misstep is likely to get you whacked to a degree not seen since, oh, Carthage.

So, like, um, what does getting a nuke REALLY mean, Dusty?

A Warthog dance on your ass?

An Israeli F-15 party?

A congratulatory note from Chirac et cie?

And does that answer change depending on who sits in the White House the end of next January?
