Too cool for words.

This is a new sim facility at Fort Sill (where I helped establish the first simcenter supporting a TRADOC school).

Just too cool for words - let's hope it's as useful as it is cool.

I was at the first SIM in Germany. After the first three or four horrible days, I put a "Task Force Smith" banner above my teams' cubes. General Saint got a little upset at that banner. Hope this one lives up to the hype and saves money/increases training effectiveness.

Ah, another member of the "I pissed of Saint!" club. Kewl. The thing that is hopeful about this is that we haven't let the procureniks drive the process. In some respects, we've let the developer have a lot more freedom to be creative. Like any software project, I'm sure it's more bugs than gas right out of the box, but hopefully the development spiral will be tighter, with better feedback. The fact that it's being done someplace like the Battle Lab rather than PEO-STRI is probably a good thing.
