This one is rather more conventional - some of you may get it right off the bat.

Someone's bound to overthink it, however.
.38 Special KTW. I think.
The proportions make it look more like a .357 case; some sort of anti-kevlar round?
It's a bullet :-/
It's that special .22 rimfire for that full-auto .22 carbine that somebody used to make, with the disc magazine, like a Degtyarev (yay!) that was gonna be for prison guards, except they went broke.
No, on second thought, the rim looks too square-edged to be a rimfire. If it weren't so late, I'd try to find calipers, hold up to screen, calculate proportions. If I had the Barnes book here.
Justthis: That was teh American-180, I believe, but it fired standard .22LR.
I'm thinking Rick's got the right idea, overall, but I agree with Martin about proportion. That looks too long for .38 Special.
"It's a bullet :-/"
It's a CARTRIDGE.
Hard to say what type with no scale reference. I'm guessing it's small. .22 or .17 ish.
Ok. A .357 then. I think.
Ok. A .357 then. I think. KTW
