I really like how the senior NCOs and Officers serve the junior troops their dinner -- what a great way to lead by example!

Happy Thanksgiving to all the men and women in the military,especially those away from their loved ones. We are thankful for every one of you!

While true as far as Jim B sez, the custom is not unique to the Marines. Especially in the units I commanded.

I served a lot of eggs out in the field. It was a great way to lay eyes on virtually every soldier first thing in the morning.
