Happy Canada Day!

It is Dominion Day in Canada (actually Canada Day now, but I chose what I did for a reason...) Their 4th of July equivalent.

The Maple Leaf Forever is nice...but it never was our anthem, just a patriotic song. And very Anglo-centric...so you can forget it now. I prefer God Save the Queen to either one, but I'm a Red Ensign-er, which explains it.

Interesting sidenote: my hometown has an elementary school named after Alexander Muir, the composer of "The Maple Leaf Forever". Just useless trivia. keep on moving....
