Heh.

Well, the honeymoon didn't last long, did it? Long-suffering readers through the run-up to yesterday, will recall I warned about the Judges? Because the Republicans-In-Name-Only (RINOs) in the Senate would roll over for the Democrats on judges, and not fight?

I was wrong. The Lead RINO of the Judiciary Committee came out swinging yesterday. At the President. Way to go, Arlen Spector, the esteemed RINO of the Keystone State! Wonder if the President regrets saving your butt in the primary?

On a related note:

Proud to be #87 there.

Then there's our pal, Michael Moore. Apparently Michael is depressed over the results yesterday. He posted this picture, which is meant, I suppose, to engender an overwhelming sense of guilt in we who voted for the President.

I for one, just see the latest installment of patriots who watered the roots of the Tree of Liberty. And the man who had to make the hard choice to send them there. Spare me the Chickenhawk comments please. I'll just keep deletin' 'em.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." --Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith, 1787.

Never realized that there were so many of us card-carryin' members of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. In the immortal words of Churchy LaFemme, "I is quietly proud."

Again, a very interesting pictorial commentary. What this portrait shows me is what may very well come to be known as the face of liberty. God bless the families of those who have died and God bless the leaders who had the wherewithal to make the hard decisions. God have mercy on ALL of us. ML

God bless those who have watered the Tree of Liberty, protect those who are pulling up the weeds that would choke it out, and guide those who prune away it's dead wood. May Liberty grow large and more fruitful..

There's a nice response to that picture over here at Knowledge is Power.
