Let's make tomorrow...

Truly Wictory Wednesday, people! As Hugh Hewitt notes, "They can't steal it if it isn't close!"

I voted for Bush. This post will stay at the top all day. New stuff is underneath. Though, I don't expect a whole lotta traffic today - you guys are out voting and surfing the PoliBlogs for info.

Me, I'm burying my head in work and hoping that when I wake up tomorrow, Bush is in for two. Or, do I have to start writing checks to all the gun organizations, vice the Republicans, to protect the investment I have in the basement.

This is why I voted for Bush. (3 meg movie, please right click and save).

Tomorrow it will either be a celebration, a wake, or the beginning of a nail-biting War of the Lawyers.

Which is still a better way to hand over power than via a gun.

Just Remember if you're a Conservative:

It's
All
About
The
Judges
.

Damn near period.

If you are a Libertarian pissed at Bush - Kerry's Judges will be worse.
If you are a Conservative pissed at Bush - Kerry's Judges will be worse.

I'm going to repeat my first scare tactic of my political punditry...

Chief Justice Clinton. Either one. Justice Gore.

Think about it before you throw your vote away.

If you live in a 'safe' state, and are considering making a protest vote - it would be nice if the plurality and the Electoral College were in alignment this time.

John,

The wife and I hit the firehouse at 0545 and there was already a line. Folks looked a bit grim (even for 0545) because they all remembered:
1. the smell of the smoke from the Towers and
2. the closing of our Post Office for a month while the moon-suiters cleaned out the anthrax and sterilized the mail.

Went to the diner and had breakfast with a neighbor of the Democratic persuasion. After the "Hellohowyadointoday?" exchange, his sole comment was, "Voted for a Republican president for the first time in my life today. And the world hasn't come to a screeching halt."

Then (to prove he was still a Democrat, I guess), he ate my toast...

Bill

Just wishing I had a vote today. Will have to give that future some more serious thought. You are all in my prayers today. God bless and God speed.

(And loving the A-10 up there!)

Do the thing you know is right, John. Might not be my thing but its not my country. Remember to have a quality beer tonight as you watch the results come in. I will still take your vote on my election pool.

I think I'll just assume that means you are fervent, El Magnifico, and not just frustratedly trying to get past the spam-check and general slow-down of the 'net today!
