A Few Random Thoughts...

1) If the shoe were on the other foot, and Bush was the one refusing to release all his military records, what are the chances of the New York Times or CBS getting their hands on them and publishing the documents on the eve of the election?

Corollary: What would be the chances of CBS "uncovering," er "documents" that were, um, forgeries?

Corollary to the corollary: If they have Kerry's, are they intentionally sitting on them? Heh.

2) The Economist thinks Bush should go down to defeat because, among other things, he is incapable of admitting mistakes. When has Kerry admitted a mistake?

Ten bonus points for an example of retracting any portion of his demonstrably false recollection of his personal incursions into Cambodia. Twenty bonus points for apologetic comments relating to his snowboarding skills vs. personal protection staff. Verifiable answers to this question will be seared...seared...into my memory.

3) Bush has been chided for "rushing to war" based on information virtually every Western intelligence agency agreed upon, mulled over for about a year, and extensively argued over with that pillar of freedom, the UN. John Kerry, in front of God and everybody, publicly accused the 3rd Infantry Division and the 101st Airborne Division leadership, and the leader of the free world, of gross incompetence approximately three picofarts after the New York Times' publicized a story about one one-thousanth of the munitions seized by the Coalition--a story that was almost instantaneously proven to be misleading and overstated.

4) Will leftoids ever climb off the fence, re: Bush's stupidity vs. his evil genius? If they were smart, they'd opt for evil genius. We should start a pool...

5) I wonder if Viggo Mortenson (Aragorn in LOTR) realizes his character and his role in cinema closely mirrors Bush's in real life. OBTW, Viggo doesn't like W...at all. Bwahahahah!!!
