The Armorer's Debate Reaction

Not that it means much, since Kerry never had a chance with me anyway.

A PLAN IS NOT A LITANY OF COMPLAINTS

The only thing John Kerry offers is that he's Not Bush. He's offered little else substantial, and most of that (his Grand Alliance) blew up in his face last week when his pals the ever-so-bribable-French and the Germans took a pass.

So, aside from the fact that we are aware he served in Vietnam (dude, sign the 180...) all we have to go on is his Senate record, which is to the left of Ted Kennedy.

Like him or no, we know what Bush is and where he stands. I'll take the devil that I know.

There ya have it, the Armorer at Castle Argghhh! still endorses the President.

Shocked. I know you are.

Ya want the junkies reax and you haven't already been there, try these:

Kerry Spot
Protein Wisdom
INDC Journal
Wizbang
Llama Butchers
La Shawn Barber
Captain Ed

The lefty sites, big surprise, declared their man the winner.

Update: I think I like Da Goddess' debate coverage the best! Hat tip to SWWBO (I'm sorry Joanie, I shoulda done it on my own).

Hi! Your blog is really good. I'm from Portugal and I've found your blog by chance, surfing on the net. Perhaps you can't understand the language used in my blog, but I would like that you visit it. Sorry about my english...

I gotta say... being a Republican lately sure is tough. I mean, there are plenty of smart, astute conservatives that can articulate the right's argument very well. Bush is, without a doubt, not one of them. Take this exchange for instance...

Kerry: "two leading national news networks have both said the president's characterization of my health care plan is incorrect."

Bush: "I'm not so sure it's credible to quote leading news organizations about — oh, never mind."

Are you serious? Did the President of our great nation really just say that?

I can only hope that the GOP finds a better nominee in 2008. I would undoubtably vote for *any* republican candidate over Bush... ANY!!! *sigh* I just don't get it.

Sorry guys, I gotta vote my conscience on this one.

Bill - I don't know where your conscience will lead you, but I have two thoughts.

1. One of the better commanders I ever served under couldn't talk well.

2. The next President, regardless of party, will probably appoint 1, possibly 2, Supreme Court justices, giving that man an impact that will last for a generation.

If you are a conservative at heart - like it or not - voting anybody but Bush is cutting your nose off to spite your face.

Thanks for the kind words, John
