I'm going to the polls in my Kevlar..

Well, not really, but I'm damned glad we use secret ballots in this country.

Many Republicans around the country agree.

I'm not certain I will vote for Bush here in Georgia, (certainly not Kerry) so I've leaning towards a bit of support for the libertarians (if only for the option of the federal election money). But, I'm starting to think about a camera and a sign in the front yard.

Though more on thought is perhaps a bit of trolling. An armored car, a US and British Flag, a camera and a Bush/Cheney sign on the Ferret. Catch a spineless liberal in the act and then offer the pictures to the police.

OK, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. As this piece points out, violence does NOT force people to change their thinking, it strengthens it. If you assault me for my "Firefighters for Bush" polo shirt, not only would you ENSURE that no matter what (short of Bush calling for mass executions of innocent people here in the U.S.) that I will vote for him, and in fact might even sway some of my undecided brother smoke eaters. So here's the way to do it. TELL ME why you think Bush is not the right choice, then respect my right to tell you why I think he IS! Debate is a WONDERFUL thing and can inspire change in those who listen to it, even if the debaters call it a draw! GET IT?

So, Monteith - I gotta ask - d'you see the net result of Kerry over Bush to be such a wash you want to make a protest vote?

For the libertarians to succeed, they have to build local first.

If you truly want to get them established as a party - I say vote for 'em locally, but I wouldn't toss my national vote away and let others decide who the Prez is going to be.

Since I'll be spending the election at the Benning School For Boys, I'll be early voting next week.

I might just turn off the electronic media until the day after the election, and just collect data on the soldiers working the experiment!
