A Navy Seal has some thoughts on "Supporting the Troops".
Tell our troops to F#@! Off
Hat tip to Jen Martinez!
Captain's Quarters points out that while Iraq had no WMD when we invaded - Saddam intended to have them as soon as he had bored us into dropping the sanctions.
Triticale blogs for a friend. For the record - Castle Argghhh! thinks it's a good thing. Both that Triticale blogs - and helping out Joanie.
Jeff Quinton is spreading the scoop that the St. Louis National Records depository is not planning to (deliberately - they already did it accidentally with WWI records) destroy veteran's paper records on file. However - while there's no need to rush out and do it - I have hard copy of all of *my* records - to include my medical and dental records. Handy to have when you need to deal with the VA.
Baldilocks notes that perhaps, just perhaps, Daddy is coming home for CBS. The Lockless One is also pondering the possiblity that Kerry is imploding in order to "take one for Hillary"...
I've made my first guest-post at Mudville Gazette.
Aaron may be regretting leaving the keys to his blog laying around...
The Coastie at Brain Shavings has some advice on armored vehicle procurement for the Army. Hmmm. I may have to start researching coastal defense ships...
Da Goddess has been out cheering on the troops! And I have cool pictures because of it!

Apparently, (according to Da Goddess herse'f, down in the comments) I shoulda posted this one: Jarheads on Parade!

Over at Dean's World - a post on PTSD - Post Totalitarian Stress Disorder.
At Eat the Lettuce - Dana reminds us of the 3rd Annual Boobiethon. Best part - Wonderwife™ lets me donate so that I can get the good stuff!
e-Claire notes some inconsistencies with Paypal.
Winston Review 12 is up at Ghost of a Flea.
Kim's Saturday Skin is up!
That's enough for now. Back to trying to fix the damn riding mower.
I didn't fix the mower. I walked the dogs instead. To continue:
Bill Hobbs has a request if you live near Nashville. Hat tip - AlphaPatriot.
Joe Gandelman has a cautionary tale for bloggers over at Dean's World. I myself tread this line carefully.
Graumagus at Frizzen Sparks notes what's more likely to kill you in New York. Hint: It ain't them dreaded Ugly Guns! Brings a whole new dimension to disarming criminals.
Mike at Feces Flinging Monkey is an expert. Why? Because he agrees with me, of course!
Punctilious at Blog-O-Ram is annoyed at the way Michael Moore pops up everywhere...
Sgt Hook is very popular. And I'm not helping...
Gunner finds local politicians to be a hoot.
Citizen Smash celebrates Captain Ed's latest catch of a Kerryfib and shows how he has been just as well-traveled in-theater as Kerry! To include time-travel.
Owen at Boots and Sabers skewers Campaign Finance laws. Not that it takes much effort...
Kate at Western Standard channels Kevin at Wizbang, who is channeling former Senator Hatfield (a WWII Vet), who is as anti-war a politician as you can find - but not a moonbat. Hatfield endorses Bush! That's going to cost him some lunch dates. I'll pick one of 'em up, Senator.
Cowboy Blob has Gun Pr0n. Dude - that's my idea, and it's copyrighted! (well, it's my idea, but I didn't bother copyrighting it. Prolly oughta) He changed the link - it's now here. No apologies needed, Cowboy - you'll get Googlehits if you use Gun Pr0n!
Last, but not least - Tim McC points out some new ammo choices for the Abrams.
Anyone for a kick ass shotgun!Gunner, APERS, Troops in Open - Fire! Targets destroyed, I guess - all I saw was about 5 pink clouds out there about 300 meters . . . OK - Cease Fire. Crew report . . ..
Personally, I like Beehive better, except that it means that mean people have gotten past the infantry and tankers and are messing around with my nice tidy comfy-bumfy battery position. If CAPT H were in front of me, I'd be expecting a radio call about 3 minutes before the bad guys arrived... with some snarky apology!
And last, but not least... Der Commissar has updated the Bloggahland map and found a cool little gimcrack for us bloggers!
Just to let you know, the picture of "John's" Jeep was from September 11th's Memorial/Heroes Tribute parade....not from the Victory Vigil.
I'm shameless when it comes to sending John jeep porn.
SO.....MANY.....LINKS.....DIAL-UP CONNECTION SO.....SLOW.....WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Would you suggest the sledge hammer, the baseball bat, or the 9-iron to take out my stress? I only ask because I have about 10 old, broken, and useless computer hard drives, and they are really about to take a BEATING for the slowness of the one working machine I have right now.
I think you need a tip jar - to buy a new 'puter and pay for broadband!
Aside from that, I'm partial to a nice sledge for things material. When I dispose of a hard drive, it gets sledged to irrecoverablility!
Apology?!
How about an invite to do some real soldiering; something more exciting than that cargo delivery scheme you're emamoured with.
(gunners>snark!)
Cheers

I could have been a tanker. I was offered a Regular commission as a tanker.
But then they found out I had a 3-digit GT score and I was too smart to be one. So, I became a Gunner...
Mea muchos culpa, Fixed the title. New link:

Thanks for linking Da Goddess, and for speaking well of me in the process. I have another post milbloggers should pick up on, wherein I publicize this morale booster for the troops.
[N.B. - the Armorer recommends you open the link in a new window...]
Yahoo now does a bit of the "rss reader" thing, but I don't know your XML feed to put it in, can you send it to me? Also, I'm only 2 months away from moving where I won't have to pay $100 a month to the only cable provider to my Apt complex to get the cable TV they require before I can get cable modem, so I won't be on dial up long.
