MORTON BLACKWELL, USEFUL IDIOT

Absolutely concur with my esteemed ground-pounding, cannon-cocking colleague. The Purple Heart has been abused enough...by all.

We should not jeopardize the gains made in the last few days and weeks by letting this thing go without censure...what traction we got by Tony McPeak endorsing John Kerry, among Air Force folks anyway, can be neutralized by this kind of behavior...as they say when a fight's going awry:

KNOCK IT OFF! KNOCK IT OFF! KNOCK IT OFF!

Is it too late to add my cents on McSchmuck?

From a USAF career spanning 78-04, that POS was the most despised, most disrespected, most disruptive CSAF we ever had, period.

His CMSAF wasn't much loved either, even in light of his later health problems.

None of this shows up in the commercials, obviously.

Lastly: I was in Dover AFB's Acctng and Finance today checking on a retirement pay problem, and with their TV tuned to CNN, up came the McPeak spot. I got up, turned my back to the TV, then sat down when it was done.

Spitting on the tube would have just created more work for some already overworked Airman.

Well, Dubya just scored my old pal (frocked me to Major) Tommy Franks.

I think that trumps "Silly Uniform" McPeak?

I'll second and third everyone. The only thing McPuke did of note in the Air Force was change the service dress so we looked like friggin' airline pilots and pushed BG's down to the wing level, thus screwing over all the Full Birds to make room for his top-heavy cliche. He was a piece of s**t that we were glad to get rid of.
