Man, is this just getting egregious, or what?

Here is the video of Barnes stating he got Bush into the NG "when I was lieutenant governor of Texas" (elected 1969, Bush signed up in 1968) -

Now that Barnes was so quickly debunked as a liar, did liberal media news issue corrections? Nope... still running with the story and just chopping off that section of the quote that proves Barnes is a fraud!

The Associated Press, NYT, and Washington Post are all running the now carefully incomplete quote below in new Bush-smearing stories today and quietly edited out the "when I was lieutenant governor of Texas" from the articles posted yesterday. How can anyone with a drop of self-respect or decency keep voting Dem when it's proven overwhelmingly that they are being deliberately manipulated, deceived and purposefully kept ignorant into doing so?

"I got a young man named George W. Bush into the National Guard ... and I'm not necessarily proud of that, but I did it," Barnes, a Democrat, said in a video clip recorded May 27 before a group of John Kerry supporters in Austin.

Barnes, who was House speaker when Bush entered the Guard, later became lieutenant governor.

This is the Michael Moore-style mainstream "journalism" today that keeps usually well-intentioned, smart, caring Americans who genuinely try to get the truth completely in the dark.... and it's why Fox News Channel has become so popular. Fox News isn't conservative, they just don't lie to the public to prop up the left and leave their viewers looking like utter fools when they try to talk politics.

Hat tip to Tammy!
