Ya know you're married to right person when a monosyllabic email exchange segues to Haiku.
Beth: Did it rain in Leavenworth?John: Yep
Beth: a lot?
John: nope
Beth: good
John: Thought you might think so.
Beth: wet dog concern.
John:
ah, fear for wet dog
applaud your heartfelt fear - but
only dumb ones wetBeth:
more fear for the floor
the dogs rarely wipe their paws
i just did the floor!
I should point out to those of you who might wonder ... I commute into Kansas City every day to work, and the weather can be significantly different there.
We had a huge thunderstorm in Kansas City, MO this morning, I wondered if it had been so in Leavenworth.
That - and the fact that Beth and I's first foray onto the Internet was doing "Haiku Headlines," a now defunct (but really cool) website where the news of the day was introduced via Haiku.
We were pretty good at it.
Then.
That was just really damn funny.
