If you're a lefty troll, move on, please. Your website is here, and your catchy campaign song is here.
If you're a lefty who likes guns and things military, you're still welcome here, just skip this post...

So, Hillary was chatting with her buds in San Francisco this week. Talking to the choir, so to speak. Here's a snippet of what she had to say:
Headlining an appearance with other Democratic women senators on behalf of Sen. Barbara Boxer, who is up for re-election this year, Hillary Clinton told several hundred supporters -- some of whom had ponied up as much as $10,000 to attend -- to expect to lose some of the tax cuts passed by President Bush if Democrats win the White House and control of Congress."Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Sen. Clinton said. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
"...may have helped you." Tax cuts only benefit the rich, eh? Lemme tell ya, Hill - I don't make enough money that I'm attending 10K a plate dinners. I've got 1.5 kids in college. (Yeah, long story) And if you don't think that money didn't help - well, of course you think that, because I'm not a Good Person, so of course it can't have helped. Only money in the hands of card-carrying democrats helps, doesn't it? Only in the hands of those who either wield power (you, girl) or those who keep you in power. As William F. Buckely noted in Up From Liberalism:
"The liberal sees no moral problem whatever in divesting the people of that portion of their property necessary to finance the projects certified by ideology as beneficial to the Whole."
The rest of us? Well, we get to have enough to keep us quiet, and that's about it, ain't it?
Of course, it's easy to talk tough to people who really aren't going to feel the pain (though I do fully accept that these people are part of the minority of taxpayers who pay the vast majority of the taxes). I just have a problem with being labled as among the rich, dangling as we do under the Sword of the Alternative Minimum Tax. Because lemme tell ya babe, I don't live like a rich person (and for those who are a little bemused here - the Collection was collected mostly when I was a bachelor!) - no, I live like someone with a mortgage, 1.5 kids in college, driving two 10 year old vehicles, and saving for retirement since I don't expect to see a penny of Social Security. Did buy a new car this year, THANKS TO THOSE TAX CUTS YOU THINK SUCK!
Just curious here, Hill - d'you have the courage to say that - just the way you did - to a Union Hall? In a middle-class Baptist Church? Or just to a bunch of people who pretty much have so much money that changes in the tax law, while affecting their overall bottom line, doesn't affect their way of life to any significant extent?
Yeah, I know, I'm selfish. Anyone who makes over the poverty line should just fork over all money above that line, right? Call me when you move into your tenement and take the bus to work, Senator. And use the PHS for your health care, too.
Today is Wictory Wednesday. Every Wednesday, except when it's a Thursday, I ask my readers to volunteer and/or donate to the Bush 2004 campaign. Or, if you are a lefty lib type, to volunteer or donate to the fringe candidates on your side to drain votes from any Dem nominee. That way you can be true to your principles and still help our guy out! Today I'm recommending the Nader campaign. Every dollar he spends helps your local economy and isn't available for Waffles.
If you've already donated and volunteered for the Bush campaign (or for unelectable lefty candidates), then talk to your friends and enlist them in this battle for America's very soul.

If you're a blogger, you can join Wictory Wednesdays simply by putting up a post like this one every Wednesday (or Thursday), asking your readers to volunteer and/or donate to the Bush campaign. And do e-mail 'em at wictory@blogsforbush.com so that they can add you to the Wictory Wednesday blogroll, which will be part of the Wictory Wednesday post on all participating blogs:
John. Go check this out. Scroll down and look at the pics.
Invade away, islamofacist scum. Our kids are making flame throwers.
:-D
The AWB is still lurking, and Bush hasn't given DiFi the rhetorical bitch slapping that she so richly deserves, so he doesn't get money from me yet.
But I did send-
$25 to George Nethercutt, trying to unseat Patty Murray in WA
$25 to Tom Coburn, trying to replace Don Nickles in OK
$10 to John Thune, trying to unseat Tom Daschle in SD
Who could this mysterious '.5' person be???
Oh, and that flamethrower thing is really cool. I want one.
