Time for a trip through the 'roll...

The Emperor is glorioiusly off his meds (as usual, and a Good Thing) but in a rare moment of quiet reflection, he cogently offers up this observation. Meanwhile, Susie, who is so nice she must be *on* her meds, discusses the pitfalls of being the boss - but it comes with perks... scheduling meetings! The Commissar is keeping an eye on the Digital Brownshirts, points us to Lllamabutchers here, (which suggests a idea for the Imperial Animatrix later), Da Comrade then suggests Blamebush, which is a hoot, as ever.

Meanwhile, up near Detroit, Iron Blogger Republican and the Queen of all Evil is keeping steely eyes on Democrat marketing, and helps Dems with vision problems. And she has a digit for Algore.

SGT Hook notes that American Warriors are still dying in Afghanistan, and provides an update on Operation Shoe Fly. Graumagus has, I think, the ultimate post on Jack Ryan. The Bejus Pundit is back, scratching his head over Israeli ammunition. I say just tell IMI to put Lake City headstamps on it, and ship it over. If your killing people, it's somehow worse if you do it with kosher ammo? Puh-leeze. These isn't like the difference between a guillotine or well-wielded sword, and sawing a head off with a knife. Fuck their sensibilities on this topic. If they're getting shot at, they should perhaps consider switching sides. Oh, yeah, Wahabism Delenda Est!

Lastly for this post... Matt at Blackfive subtly suggests the UN is not perhaps the most effective of organizations, but has a suggestion of one that has a slightly better record of success.

I have to admit that I'm a Dem that formerly suffered from vision problems re: the Hitler ad on the Bush-for-President web site.

Michele explained it for me though:

Kerry supporters liken Bush to Hitler. Bush ad shows Kerry supporters likening Bush to Hitler, to show that Kerry supporters are from the dark side. What part of this do you not get?
I get it!

Actually, I kind of like it. In fact, I'd like to see MORE pictures of Hitler on the Bush web site. More, more, more.

More.

All Hitler, all the time, on the Bush-for-President web site.

Heh.

What's next? Maybe pictures of Hitler on Bush bumper stickers. Pictures of Hitler on Bush t-shirts. Maybe they'll show the Hitler ad at the RNC Convention in New York City.

More Hitler, please!

P.S. Did I mention that Hitler appears on the Bush web site? Right.

Ara! Long time no see! BTW - if your Dad squirreled away any Ethiopian-marked Mausers, you and I have *got* to talk!

Oh, and do you really, really, really believe that Bush is a Hitler clone? I mean, really? Doncha think that is trivializing Hitler just a teensy weensy bit?

Just saw this on Newsweek:

NEWSWEEK asked an interactive content developer for a large New York City advertising firm to view the video and offer his professional opinion. After laughing out loud at the video, he said the picture of Hitler overwhelms any other message and that the entire advertisement seemed poorly conceived. “If you’re not aware of the MoveOn.org campaign, it seems like a ridiculous point. It’s picking up a spitball, polishing it, and throwing it back at them. It’s like saying: 'I’m like Hitler ? No you’re like Hitler '.”

Hey, when I Googled "Hitler" I got the George Bush website. Thanks for the link John.
