Tourism at Castle Argghhh!

The Tourism Bureau as Castle Argghhh! is pleased to note more visitors this month than last, which was a record month. Sadly, the bump in packets is probably due to N1ck B3rg. Hopefully, the Castle has garnered some more regular visitors, as well.

After the usual slew of .com and .net visitors, the Netherlands once again leads the way, probably confirming LT. Smash's observation that satellite links in from the middle east terminate at a POP (point of presence) in the Netherlands. We also hope that some natives are visiting, as well. The bump in traffic from France, based on numbers, can't be Jack Grant alone, so the analysts here at Castle Argghhh! infer that much traffic from Africa hits the internet via a POP in France. Bienvenue!, regardless of how you get here.

After B3rg and Lt Cowherd, the most popular single post continues to be the Glock video, usually through referrals from Murdoc or Les Jones. People also come here from Misha's place, either to take a break from relentless cluebatting, or to rearm for the fray. Many visitors also come in from Kim du Toit to see pictures of old stuff, as Kim handles the new quite well. Other common connecting stations to the Castle are from Ghost of a Flea, Dean Esmay, the Queen of All Evil and the Commissar.

The Armorer appreciates the fact that this remains an island of calm in the storm-tossed seas of the Internet, a place to come look at dirty pictures of guns without all the shrillness sometimes attendant with an excessive Moonbat population from either end of the political spectrum. Interestingly enough, most visitors who find the politics, layout, or some other aspect of the Castle annoying tend to go comment on that fact at the referring website, and not here. Perhaps the Arsenal is a deterrent, we don't know.
