Coming up for bids to support Spirit of America!

For the first time in history, an artifact from The Imperial Arsenal at Castle Argghhh! is being put on the block.

For Charity. The Spirit of America.

UPDATE: Bidding is closed for this item! King Ghidorah is the winner!
To claim your prize, email a copy of your donation receipt and a snail mail address so I can ship this puppy off to you.

Watch this space tomorrow for a new item (one that will entice our bretheren in the Great White Spaces Up North. - and yes, it will be legal, Dowingba!)

Bids open at $50 Highest bidder (with a confirmed donation receipt *after* the auction closes) will get this little (well, not so little) monster shipped to their door. Bidding closes at 3PM Central time. As far as I know, legal everywhere. Completely inert, it's never been 'ert'.

A Training Practice round for the GAU-8 Avenger cannon.

A high-res picture is here.

That's the gun on the A-10 ladies and gentlemen! Shown here with an 8mm Mauser round for comparison. These rounds were used for function-testing of the gun and feed system. You know you want it. You know you need it!

If this goes well - there will be something else

Smash is donating an original deck of Iraq's Most Wanted Cards!

Dude, I guarantee you that isn't legal in Canada.

John of Argghhh! briefed on April 23, 2004 07:55 AM

You might be surprised at what's legal in Canada.

They just don't want you to think it's legal.

Look Here

If I had my old laptop with me, I could show you more sites in Canada that sell stuff like this. Key word - inert.

I knew I had a pretty specialized interest... but I didn't realize it was this specialized!

I have a couple of nephews who would think that's the coolest thing ever...I'd bid $50!

I'm in for $51.00. I have a couple of grandsons who think that's pretty cool. ;)

Did not reup because first time around as a fire control liason officer on top of a big ugly red hill surrouded by 1000 meters of nothing, they put me with a whole bunch of soldiers and Marines who had bad hygiene habits. ;)

I'll go $100...

Matt Crandall briefed on April 23, 2004 12:54 PM
