UPDATE: SOA is working to get the webpage set-up so that you can donate and get it credited to the Fusileers. We may not be able to backtrack donations, so if you've already given Hoo-ah! but it could be that unless you give again, we won't get credit. If you want to great - but this is about getting it done, not getting credit for it - so if you're happy, I'm happy!
I've had the first shot at the webpage, and it's still not working right - so hang in there campers and be patient! Try not to blow the whole refund on booze and companionship this weekend!
And now (along with the Commissar) we're all mentioned on the Wall Street Journal website. However, since I've gotten all of 4 hits from there - message to WSJ - no one reads the responses! What? You think they may not have cared? No way! Anyone who read it, visited, I'm sure.
The SOA people are working the tech side of "BlogAlliance Real Fundraising" or, since I'm military to the core, BARF! The Fighting Fusileers are signed up, and the Quartermaster is awaiting issue of the Buttons. According to Jim Hake of Spirit of America, many of you aren't waiting - and donations are flowing in anyway! Matt of Blackfive has a reader who made a $500 donation! Woo-woo!
Not to worry, Warriors of the World Wide Web - while SOA is happy to get that kind of money - just give what you can, and 1$ more than that. It's all fungible.
