A Police Chief changes his mind about concealed carry.
Four years ago, she was helpless as a man robbed her at gunpoint. On Friday, legally armed with a handgun, she may have saved her life. And Farmington Hills Police Chief William Dwyer, who dreaded a change in the law in 2001 to make it easier to receive a concealed weapons permit, admits that he's changing his mind about that law.
The dishes just rattled in the Brady residence. Feinstein and Schumer feel sick to their stomachs and don't know why.
From an article by Stephen Frye of The Daily Oakland Press
Go read the rest. Concealed carry - a crime prevented - and no one got hurt. That's really got to chap their butts at the Violence Policy Center - who would rather that Angela had just given the man whatever he wanted, like a good prey animal. Kinda like Socialist Spain right now.
Kudos to Angela for having the guts to face down the people who tried to victimize her.
Kudos also to Chief Dwyer for having the strength to stand up and say that he was wrong about CCW permits. Not many public figures are willing to swallow their pride like that in the public interest.
