Learning from your trackbacks...

Ah, the twisty skeins we unravel as the shuttle passes through the weave with the weft of the internet...

A frequent reader/contributor to this space, CAPT H of her Britannic Majesty's Forces in the Great White North, sent a link from my blog to another fellow he reads, A Coyote at the Dog Show, who is a firearms technorati and all 'round outdoorsy-type. The Coyote linked to my bit on Martin Luther King Day (which isn't about the Day, per se, but about African-Americans defending themselves). In his post linking to mine, Anthony linked to this page about The Deacons for Defense and Justice, which is a bit of the Civil Rights era that while I was living through it as a very young fella I missed, and which I apparently slept through if it was covered in my history classes on the subject. This kind of thing is what makes blogging worth the effort it takes. Hat tip to the mild-mannered archaeologist for the pointer - and I'm starting to wonder if John just likes seeing his name up all over.... 8^)
