This just in...

I'm still eating beef and I don't blame President Bush.

Those of you who don't get your beef from Nebraska/Iowa/Missouri/Kansas don't know what you're missing, anyway!

Besides, I can't give blood anymore, because I was stationed in Germany for longer than six months in the period of 1980-85 (I was there just about the entire time). We apparently ate brit beef during that time (via TISA and the Commissary) and so the Red Cross doesn't trust my blood anymore, even after giving five gallons before the cutoff (I'm an O-Neg, they begged me, begged, I tell you!).

No doubt, lefties will think I'm an obvious example of Mad-conservative disease - but that comes from exposure to lefties, not british beef!

Update: Mmmmmm! Steak! Choke on that PETA!

I'm in the same boat as you...I ate prime Aberdeen Angus...FRESH from Angus District for YEARS..now, the Wife and I can't give blood...screw it..everyone has gotta die from something....I'd rather enjoy my steak now and get hit by a bus later...than munch carrots for the rest of my life waiting to develop CJD..

OK, I'm now convinced that Dean shoots off at the mouth in a way that is stupid. I wondered if some of the recent news reports I had been reading were due to a journalist's need to shoot down a front-runner for a "dramatic" story, but a pattern is falling into place now, independent of bad reporting.

Federal aid for cattlemen? Sorry... I have many (many) relatives who are farmers, and I hate our farm aid policy now, and I hated the aid we gave to airlines after 9/11. No aid for cattle ranchers. This is just a cost of doing business.

LOL - I was going to go out and buy steak for dinner tonight, then I remembered that we're going out with a group for dinner (yea! I don't have to cook!) So, now I guess I'll have to order it instead *g*

Anyone who takes this beef 'scare' to heart should stick to fish sticks anyway. More beef for me! Besides, we lose more people each year to E-coli, salmonella and flu than there will ever be from mad cow disease in humans.

Medium rare please.............
