This is a picture of our bar at home. It has a S.A.T. M1893 Spanish Mauser hanging above it. South African Trophy. It's a New Zealand captured Boer Mauser.
It also has an SRD rum jug. Soldiers Rum Depot, or, better, Seldom Reaches Destination jug. The jugs that a Brit soldier's grog ration came from. The brown bottle to the left is a Schultheiss beer bottle recovered from a buried german dugout vicinity Verdun. The brown cup on top of the rum jug is a WWII brit issue drinking cup. The blue cup with the D-arrow-D on it is the Aussie equivalent found in the Tobruk lines. The white enameled cup is a WWI brit cup. The dark, hard-to-see cup behind it is a M1870 US-issue drinking cup.
Tea or grog, who cares?
