Damn few, if any. Here is a soldier's hymnal from 1875. I love this kind of stuff - almost as much as I love soldiers. Sailors. Marines. Airmen. Cops. Firemen. First Responders in general. And their families. Anyone who puts their life between danger and home - and doesn't do it for the money, lord knows. I remember answering the door the day, during my father's tour in Vietnam, when the Western Union man was standing there, miserable. We (well, Dad, really) were lucky. Dad was only wounded, not dead. But I know what it feels like to answer the door...
Not the I mind you rich guys. I'm working on that myself now, too!
